New Sidewalk Coming to Lamoreaux Drive
The Comstock Park Downtown Development Authority is installing a new sidewalk along the north side of Lamoreaux Drive from Nick Fink’s Restaurant to Bud Street. Retaining walls by Bud Street have been completed, and sections of some driveways have been removed as well as some trees. Once the water service installation on Lamoreaux is complete, the sidewalk will be poured.
The sidewalk installation was scheduled to take place while work on Lamoreaux was being done so the area wouldn’t be torn up twice. The sidewalk is being installed to improve safety for pedestrians and students walking to and from Mill Creek Middle School.
