Cookies With Cops - Meet Your Local Community Policing Officers!
Local Kent County Sheriff deputies are inviting area residents to a Cops and Cookies meet and greet 3:30 to 5 p.m. October 23 at Cookie Chicks, 3979 West River Dr. in downtown Comstock Park. Deputy Douglas, Alpine Township Community policing officer, Deputy Trevino, Plainfield Township community policing officer, and Deputy Brown, Comstock Park Schools resource officer, will be on hand to introduce themselves and talk with residents. Holly del Rosario, owner of Cookie Chicks, said she hopes the after-school time will allow area students to stop by.
