Comstock Park Library
The Comstock Park branch of the Kent District Library is one of two KDL branch libraries in Plainfield Township, the other being the Plainfield Library. The Comstock Park Library has been at its present location, 3943 West River Drive, since 1961. It is the smaller of the Plainfield Township libraries. It was expanded in 1997 to 3,311 feet. The library is in an attractive location next to Dwight Lydell Park in downtown Comstock Park.
The Comstock Park Downtown Development Authority funded the Library’s digital sign in collaboration with KDL and expanded the parking lot. The Library’s location is convenient to Mill Creek Middle School and to downtown businesses. It is the site of community events such as the annual Community Celebration. Patrons have access to all of KDL’s wide array of resources and services such as story times and crafts for children, activities and programs for teens, and Live and Learn Lectures for adults.
